Kelso Harlequins are the oldest youth sporting organisation in the town being founded in 1932. The aims of the club have not changed since foundation with the principal ethos still being the fostering of the game of rugby union to the youth of the town. Although extremely proud of the international players that the club has produced they are just as proud of the many Kelsonians who may not have been as talented but look back on their days with the Quins with affection. For the last 50 years the Harlequins have been a respected member of the Border Semi Junior League.

To date 7 league titles and 2 Scottish Championships have been won and hopefully more will follow as the club continue to strive for Borders and national success.

The Harlequins are the last stepping stone to senior rugby and welcome players aged between 16 and 18. Training is held at Croft Park at 7pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and their coaches would be delighted to see any new faces as they look to build up the squad for what is usually a full season of league, cup and sevens fixtures.
