LIsmore 5 Kelso Ladies 39
The Border's only women's rugby team, kelso ladies chalked up a 39-5 win on the road against LIsmore at Inch Park in the city on Sunday.
This was their second win in successive weeks to give themselves a really good start to their campaign in Tennents East Region League.
The maturity and experience of the Kelso team dominated a spirited LIsmore side and this was reflected in the scoreline of seven tries to one. Jenna Fenwick and Kat Macey each scored a brace of tries with Emma Bree, Babs Watson and Donna Borthwick each adding a try to the total. Katie McLaren slotted two conversions to complete the scoring.
