We are delighted to announce that Murray Hastie has been appointed Captain for the 2019-20 season.
Commenting on the announcement, Murray said, “It’s a huge privilege to be asked to captain Kelso RFC. We are entering a new league structure this season going into unknown territory. I am excited and look forward to leading a great group of lads through the 2019/20 season.”
On confirming the appointment, Director of Rugby, Bruce Millar, added, “Murray returned to the club last season and added a huge amount to our attacking play. He has an excellent understanding of our game plan and is a great communicator who will help drive the club forward both on and off the pitch. I’m excited to work with Murray to ensure Kelso enjoys a successful season in what will be a highly competitive league.”
