Kelso Rugby Club were very sad to hear of the passing of former club captain Jack Utterson.
Jack was captain of the club in 1962/63 season and was an accomplished and respected back row forward playing alongside Kens Smith, Charlie Stewart and Jock Walker and his robust uncompromising play gained him recognition and selection for the South v Edinburgh where the South drew 3-3. He was also a prolific sevens player winning numerous medals on the borders sevens circuit. He will be sadly missed and our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
